Tanya – United States Liaison Tanya currently resides in San Diego, California where her day job involves working with students requiring special education. She earned her master’s degree in Secondary Education with a credential in Social Science from Loyola Marymount University. Tanya also earned her undergraduate degree in Humanities and Art History while also spending a semester abroad in Beijing, China. While in China, Tanya immersed was immersed in learning the Chinese language and culture while furthering her studies in international education.   In her off time, Tanya’s hobbies include painting, reading, learning foreign languages, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and other outdoor sports and activities that keep her active. Tanya brings to our staff an enthusiasm for working with international students along with her commitment to improving schooling for racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse student populations.

Tracy – China Liaison Tracy currently works for one of the largest European investment banks in the world and is an MBA graduate of Fairfield University. Prior to leaving China for an education in the U.S., she held various positions with well-known Fortune 500 and large multi-national insurance companies. In her free time, Tracy is actively involved with several Asian-American non-profit organizations that provide scholarships for underprivileged students wanting to study abroad. Tracy also teaches Chinese as a second language and uses her personal experience to help Chinese students alleviate their fears of moving to a foreign country and environment.

Joe – South Korea Liaison Joe is a graduate of Fairfield University and Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, RI. Education has always been a career Joe was interested in and ultimately led him to quit his job as a financial analyst one year after graduating college. He is now teaching English as a foreign language at a prestigious academy in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to teaching, Joe takes Korean language classes with the intention of someday becoming fluent.  He enjoys traveling, extreme sports, fine films and playing pool. As a teacher, student, and current expatriate, Joe understands and can anticipate the needs of an individual wanting to study abroad.
